Equisense, a story like no other

In 2014, Camille Saute and Benoît Blancher, both horsepeople since childhood, started from a simple observation:
There is no object capable of measuring performance in horse riding. 

Swimming, running, diving, golfing or even tennis can do this, so why not our sport? 

However, many parameters are measurable and can be improved over the years (symmetry, cadence, elevation). 

The objective was then set:
We wanted to give all riders the opportunity to put numbers to their feelings.

The idea of creating sensors dedicated to horse riding emerges. The first prototypes are imagined and designed at the UTC in Compiègne with the help of experts in biomechanics and biomedical.

Our Technology

Smart, accurate and objective technology

 

The sensors Equisense have a 9-axis inertial unit with a 9-axis accelerometer (3 axes), a gyrometer (3 axes) (3 axes), and a magnetometer (3 axes).  This plant The inertial system acquires 100 measurements per second and allows the analysis of the horse's locomotion locomotion in an extremely precise manner. 

Also, our sensors have a system that measures electrocardiogram of the horse and offer a reliable detection of heart rate and cardiac arrhythmias. 

From these technical data, the scientific team d’Equisense has developed numerous algorithms to these complex measurements into simple, variable and indicators that are simple, variable and actionable for all riders.
